Mulder and Scully investigate a trucker's report of a UFO sighting in Tennessee, uncovering what appears to be a government conspiracy to transport an "Extraterrestrial Biological Entity."
As they dig deeper, the agents meet with The Lone Gunmen, a trio of eccentric conspiracy theorists who offer help and insights. Meanwhile, Mulder’s source, Deep Throat, provides cryptic information, but also seems to be misleading them. Mulder begins to suspect Deep Throat may be manipulating him to protect a bigger secret.
